HARRISONBURG — The Virginia Department of Transportation has released its weekly notice of traffic alerts for the area.
In Rockingham County, Port Republic Road — just east of Harrisonburg — will face lane and shoulder closures beginning Tuesday. The work, taking place between Stone Spring and Ridgedale roads, will continue as needed, according to the announcement.
North of Keezletown, Va. 758, also known as Rainbow Trail, will be closed beginning Aug. 13 for pipe replacement. The closure will begin a little over a half-mile east of the intersection with Va. 620, or Mountain Valley Road, and continues until connecting with Va. 758, also known as Happy Valley Road.
The work is to be finished by Aug. 22.
In Augusta County, Skyview Circle in Verona will see alternating lane closures as VDOT crews conduct nighttime paving operations. The road, also known as Va. 854, is east of U.S. 11.
Construction is estimated to be completed by Dec. 20.
